The Tinnasuolanon Bridge is the longest concrete bridge in Thailand, situated between Songkhla City and Singhanakhon District, connecting two sides of Koh Yo: Ban Nam Krajai in Songkhla City and Ban Khao Khieo in Singhanakhon. The bridge stretches over two main spans of 940 meters and 1,700 meters, totaling 2,640 meters in length. It was constructed during the period of General Prem Tinsulanonda and is commonly referred to by locals as "Paw Bridge" or "Paw Prem Bridge." The purpose of building this bridge was to facilitate road traffic without the need to wait for ferries, which were insufficient to handle the rapidly increasing number of vehicles. This often led to long travel times and traffic congestion once on the other side. Therefore, in 1981, the government initiated plans to develop Songkhla and Hat Yai as major urban centers. The Highway Department owned the project, with a construction company from Taiwan carrying out the work. The bridge was opened for use on December 9, 1984.
