Located in Moo 1, Ban Ao Sai on Koh Yao, this folk museum was established in 1978. It showcases the tools, art, culture, and way of life of the southern Thai people. The exhibition is divided into four buildings and further segmented into various rooms, including the history and ethnology room, bead and jewelry room, knife and weapon room, room for traditional southern occupational tools, and a space for local games. Additionally, the exterior of the museum offers a scenic viewpoint, allowing visitors to enjoy a stunning view of Songkhla Lake and the Tinnasulanond Bridge. The museum is open to the public daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Entrance fees are as follows: Thai adults 50 baht, children 10 baht, and foreign visitors 100 baht.
