Located along the Yamu Canal, opposite the Yaharin District Office, this area is part of the national reserved forest. The Yaharin mangrove forest project spans an impressive 500 rai. The center features a nature trail that winds through the mangrove ecosystem, built with golden teak wood (Hopea Odorata) and stretching 1,250 meters around the area. Along the path, visitors can observe various plant communities within the mangrove ecosystem, including trees, shrubs, and vines, each thriving in different zones, particularly in areas between the lowest and highest sea levels. Notable plant species include white bean trees, black mangroves, sea buttonwood, white-flowered mangrove, and white mangrove trees. The trail is furnished with rest areas and interpretive signs that provide insights into the mangrove forest, complete with illustrative images. Travelers can also access an elevated wooden walkway, a resting pavilion, and a birdwatching tower, which rises 13 meters above the canopy, offering panoramic views of the mangrove species. In addition to walking the nature trail, visitors have the opportunity to take a boat tour through the mangroves, which is one of the center's key activities. Tourists can enjoy a scenic ride along three designated canals: Bang Pu Canal, Middle Canal, and Ko Canal. Along both banks, one can witness the lush, thriving mangrove forest, abundant aquatic life, diverse bird species, and the traditional lifestyles of local communities intertwined with the mangrove landscape, all showcasing the breathtaking beauty of the mangrove swamps.
