Located along Surakanukul Road in Pimaan Subdistrict, this temple was originally named Wat Mambang. It is the first temple in Satun, established in 1882. Later, it was renamed Wat Chanathipchalerm, serving as a focal point for Buddhist practitioners for over a century. The temple's ordination hall was built in 1930 and features a two-story structure. The ground floor is made of brick and mortar, serving as a sermon hall, while the upper floor is a wooden building used for monk ceremonies. In front of the ordination hall, a balcony stretches out with stairs on either side, adorned with intricately carved columns and window frames resembling vine patterns. This temple is recognized as a conservation area for environmental and local artistic heritage by the Satun Provincial Art Conservation Unit in collaboration with the Satun Cultural Center and Satun Wittaya School.
