The bird conservation and educational center in Phitsanulok opens its doors to both tourists and the general public, featuring a variety of bird species found in Thailand. Some of these species are rare and on the brink of extinction, while others have already vanished. Noteworthy examples include the striking Red-faced Lizard and the prehistoric-looking Hornbill. This species is unique to Thailand and is characterized by its bare neck and punk-style hairdo. Additionally, the Thai Bird Park has curated a collection of birds referenced in Thai literature, such as the Oriole, the Magpie Robin, the Cuckoo, the Green Magpie, and the mythical bird Khan Phan. There are a total of approximately 120 bird species in the park, many of which can imitate human sounds and have beautiful songs. The park is also a serene haven, adorned with various trees to provide the birds with a habitat that closely resembles their natural environment. Visitors can explore the park every day from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The admission fee is 50 baht for adults, 20 baht for children, and 100 baht for foreign visitors. Marvel at the beautiful photo opportunities at Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park and visit the ancient temples in the historic city of Sukhothai. You can find the bird park on Visutthakaksa Road in downtown Phitsanulok, right across from the Ja Thawee Folk Museum.
