A treasure trove of knowledge that opens up another perspective of Southern Thailand, this museum allows you to gain a deeper understanding of the region's culture. The museum is divided into two main sections: The Phra Thep Yan Molii Museum, which showcases the history, works, and personal belongings of Phra Thammolii, as well as Buddha statues, various forms of deities, amulets, ancient artifacts, and significant items such as Chinese porcelain, European pottery, Thai-Chinese ceramics, commemorative coins, currency, and banknotes. The Folklore Museum, which provides insightful stories and information on various topics, including the traditional Thai-Muslim houses in the southern border provinces, local tools and implements, performing arts, prehistoric human artifacts, and items from ancient communities, including ceramics, local beliefs, and technological advancements. The museum is open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, except on public holidays. The museum is located within the Prince of Songkla University Pattani Campus.
