Wat Sri Ka Ang in Nakhon Nayok is a temple nestled amid peaceful nature in the Ban Na District of Nakhon Nayok Province. The overall atmosphere is serene and lush, making it an ideal place for relaxation and meditation. The highlight of the temple is the statue of "Phra Samphutthasakkayamuni Loknath," which is the largest replica of Phra Phuttha Chinnarat in Thailand. It has a width of 18 meters and stands over 30 meters tall, positioned on a hill more than 150 meters high, making it visible from afar. Additionally, there is an ubosot (ordination hall) built on the hill as well, distinguished by its architecture that perfectly blends Thai and Chinese styles, particularly in the decorative window and door frames adorned with ancient bowls. Traveling to Wat Sri Ka Ang is convenient, as you can drive directly up to the temple. It is open for visitors every day from morning to evening. There is also a viewpoint called Phan Nang Dam, which is a wide valley offering beautiful natural scenery, and visitors can even set up tents for camping here.
