It is one of the most well-preserved wooden temples in Thailand, adorned with an array of exquisite ancient architecture. Wat Phra That Lampang Luang also houses the revered "Phra Kaew Don Tao" (Emerald Buddha), which is considered the sacred Buddha image of Lampang.
