The ancient temple that will give you chills at first sight with its solemn yet enchanting aura. Here, you will find an old vihara crafted by artisans from Chiang Tung, built in the exquisite Lanna Thai architectural style, adorned with intricate patterns throughout. Notably, the gable and doorframe feature brickwork embellished with animal motifs characteristic of authentic Lanna art. Inside the vihara, in addition to the principal Buddha image, there is a statue of the revered Phra Mahagaseerapinyo Bhikkhu, crafted to life-size by his own skilled hands. Moreover, the stupa of Wat Lai Hin is constructed in the Lanna style as well, housing the sacred relics of the Lord Buddha. The Kantawai, or sermon hall, also reflects Lanna artistry, taking the form of a large triangular wooden slab intricately carved with various designs, such as mythical serpents, the monkey god Hanuman, and vine patterns.
