Wat Pa Non Sawan, also known as "Wat Mo" (Pot Temple), earns its name from the earthen pots crafted by local artisans from Ban Yang, which decorate nearly every part of the temple. This unique adornment adds a captivating beauty to the site. While the earthen pots and sculptures create an unusual sight, they are also imbued with various teachings of Buddhism. As you approach the temple, you are greeted by a Hanuman entrance, leading to a multi-tiered chedi. Each level features wall murals that depict the history of Buddha. The temple's entrance is flanked by two giant turtles, creating a visually striking presence. The artistic style resembles elements of Khmer and Indian art; however, the exact origins of these designs remain unclear.
