This initiative is based at the home of Khun Amphon Thongthisan, located at No. 84, Moo 6, Soi 1, Wai Lum Village, Maba Subdistrict, Thawatchaburi District, Roi Et Province. Today, Wai Lum Village has evolved into a homestay destination, offering accommodations for tourists to immerse themselves in the lives and cultural practices of the local community. This initiative promotes the sale of cultural heritage, traditions, and a natural lifestyle, ensuring that visitors can relax amidst nature while enjoying local handicrafts, especially the silk products that Wai Lum is famous for. These efforts have significantly increased the income of local residents. Furthermore, a variety of other local products are available for purchase, such as woven goods, organic vegetables, and souvenir items. Tourists interested in visiting and supporting the handicrafts of Wai Lum Village can easily reach the village by traveling along the Roi Et-Yasothon route, Highway No. 23, at kilometers 145-146, just 25 kilometers from Roi Et city center.
