It is a sandy beach adorned with lush pine trees lining the shores of Songkhla Lake. Outward, you can see the enchanting landscape of the lake, dotted with small islands that are truly captivating. Activities worth enjoying include paying homage at the King Rama V Monument, which stands majestically dressed in traditional Thai attire on the left side of the shore. This site is historically significant as the King once resided here. Visitors can also take a photo with the Norah sculpture, representing a famous art form from Phatthalung, prominently displayed for tourists to recognize. Strolling through the fountain area, you will find statues of the "Irrawaddy Dolphin" and the "Lampam Fish," both crucial species of Songkhla Lake. From this point, you can see the pavilion in the lake, known as Sala Lampam, which holds a special charm. Crossing the bridge to Lampam Island, a sizable island in the water, spanning about 4 rai, the atmosphere here is refreshing with pine forests and a cool breeze. The beach area is perfect for enjoying the view, and in some spots, you can even take a dip in the water. Lampam Island is the only place on the western shore of the lake where you can admire the stunning scenery of Songkhla Lake. Location: It is situated in the Tambon Lampam, Mueang District, Phatthalung Province, approximately 7 kilometers east of the town center.
