“Uncle Thanom's Palm Grove” is a center for learning about the wisdom of the sugar palm or the group dedicated to preserving and passing on sugar palm traditions. It is located in Tambon Thamrong, Amphoe Ban Lat, Phetchaburi Province. This unique site is the only one in Phetchaburi where sugar palms are planted in rows across more than 10 acres, brimming with palm trees and the local villagers’ traditional ways of processing sugar palm, which is quite rare to find in Thailand. This community stands out for its cultural heritage and has been recognized as one of the most interesting tourist destinations.
