Wat Chom Sawan showcases stunning Burmese-style architecture, making it a remarkable sight to behold. Inside the temple, visitors can find a variety of intriguing antique artifacts. Among these are ancient scriptures crafted from ivory, intricate stone flowers, flintlock rifles, and the revered Luang Por San statue. In addition to the beautiful wood carvings and exquisite mirror decorations of the temple itself, Wat Chom Sawan holds the ancient ivory scriptures, which are made by grinding ivory into a fine powder and then spreading it into sheets. This makes it a significant artistic heritage of the Phrae community and a revered treasure of the region.

This Mandalay-style building was built entirely with teak during King Rama V’s reign. The roofs are of multiple styles that blended seamlessly together. The outstanding feature is the staircase with stacked roofs on both sides.
