bicolor river

bicolor river

The mouth of the Mun River behind Wat Khong Jiam, Khong Jiam, Ubon Ratchathani.

This area is where the Mun River meets the Mekong River, creating a distinct contrast in water colors, particularly along the riverbanks of the Mun and Mekong rivers by Wat Khong Chiam and parts of the Huay Mak village. It’s a beautiful natural phenomenon. During the early winter, the Mekong River takes on a cloudy, cement-like hue, while the Mun River is a clear, vibrant blue.
