In the area of Sakha Sam Subdistrict, Mueang District, water can be retained throughout the year. There is a pavilion for the public to relax, and a bird park is located at the end of Huai Talat Reservoir. This area has been designated as a wildlife sanctuary. In 1992, surveys revealed that over 100 species of birds inhabit the surroundings each year. Notably, during the dry season from November to April, an extraordinary number of birds flock to the area. Some species are endangered and increasingly difficult to find, such as the swan goose, the lesser whistling duck, and the purple swamphen. At the residence of Khun Sawat Khoshaney, a bird park and relaxation area has been established. It's ideal to visit and observe the bird flocks in the evening. Each day, around 5:00 to 6:00 PM, thousands of white egrets return to their nests, creating a truly breathtaking sight. There are also services available for tours around the area.
