Thung Makham Bay is divided into two areas: Thung Makham Bay Inner and Thung Makham Bay Outer. It is one of the most picturesque beach viewpoints in Chumphon, characterized by two semicircular curves of the bay adjacent to each other, with a rocky promontory marking the boundary between the two sides. To the north lies Thung Makham Bay Inner, featuring a stretch of white sandy beach that runs parallel to coconut palms for about 1 kilometer. On the other side of the rocky promontory is Thung Makham Bay Outer, where the bay curves gently and boasts a soft, white sandy beach that extends southward for roughly 3 kilometers, densely lined with palm trees along its shoreline.
