Located on Koh Lanta Yai, this community is home to a Muslim population that has settled here for approximately 100 years. The village is named after Toh Yee Peng, an ancestor who first arrived and established roots in the area. The primary occupations in the village are traditional fishing and rubber plantation farming. Surrounding the community is a rich mangrove forest teeming with diverse marine life, including red-eyed clams, cockles, and king crabs. Tourism activities in the community include nature trails for exploring the mangrove ecosystem, kayaking services, and traditional rowboat tours that showcase the stunning scenery of the mangroves while allowing visitors to observe local fish farming practices. Additionally, guests can savor the local cuisine, such as steamed fish and various chili dips unique to the residents. Accommodations are available in both resort and homestay styles, catering to a range of preferences.
