Located along Jao Mae Song Nang Road, in front of Bung Kan Hospital, is a sacred shrine where people come to pay their respects and seek blessings for prosperity. It is a common belief that several residents living along the Mekong River perish in its waters each year, attributed to the actions of water deities. As a result, the locals organize a grand worship ceremony for Jao Mae Song Nang to bring good fortune and protect those who work in water-related professions from dangers. This major ceremony takes place annually during the sixth lunar month.
