Wat Sega Chetiyaram

Seka Subdistrict, Seka District.

Wat Sekajatiyarama, originally named Wat Ban Sek, is located in Dong Rai Village, in the Sek sub-district. The temple received official approval for establishment on November 23, 1982. It was built by Phra Kru Santiphaniporn in 1975 and was later renamed Wat Sekajatiyarama on December 29, 2009. Today, it has been designated as a royal temple for the province of Bueng Kan. Within the temple grounds, there are several significant religious artifacts, including the statue of Phra Chao Muen Muang Sek, which is enshrined in the ordination hall; the Sala Chalerm Phra Kiat, commemorating Her Majesty the Queen's 72nd birthday; and the Phra That Krung Kuntanu, which houses sacred relics of the Buddha.
