Visit the revered replica of the Buddha’s footprint made from brass, which is held in high regard by the locals of Aranyaprathet. This sacred artifact is housed within the ubosot of Wat Anubhanphat, also known as "Wat Khao Noi." Marvel at the beauty of the ubosot, which features a uniquely stunning Thai architectural style that sets it apart from typical Buddhist temples. Notably, the ubosot's roof is sharply pointed in the traditional Thai style, divided into two levels— the first level has six gables while the second has four. The structure is elaborately adorned in accordance with traditional Thai artistry. Wat Anubhanphat was established in 1925, during the period when the Thai government was constructing the Eastern Railway under King Rama VI, extending from the area of eight ri to the Thai-Cambodia border at Khlong Luk, enhancing friendship between Thailand and Cambodia. The temple is open for visitors daily from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. For further inquiries, please contact 0 3731 2282 or 0 3731 2284.
