Wat Si Sumang Vannaram is located along the banks of the Mekong River, on Samran Chai Khong South Road, approximately 300 meters from Wat Yot Kaew Siwichai. Inside the vihara, the principal Buddha statue is in the posture of Naga Protection, displaying Lao-style characteristics. Additionally, there are two pagodas situated beside the old sim or assembly hall. The front pagoda is designed in the Lan Chang style, resembling the famous Phra That Si Soung Ruk in Loei province, a common sight in both Isaan and Laos. The other, larger pagoda is called Phra That Si Sumongkol, which closely resembles Phra That Phanom in Nakhon Phanom province.
