Wat Si Bun Rueang (North Temple)

Anarakanak Road, Kalasin, Kalasin Province

Located on Anarkhanak Road in the Kalasin Subdistrict, near Wat Klang, this ancient temple is situated within the municipal area. It houses several sacred stone monuments, known as "Sema", which are beautifully carved in the style of the Fad-Sangyang city. These remarkable stone markers are carefully placed around the main hall of the temple. One of the most striking Sema features an image of an angel flying above a temple, encapsulated in a glass canopy. This artwork exemplifies the unique two-tiered style of the Dvaravati period, with the lowest level showcasing a king alongside his queen and their prince.

Province: Kalasin
