A serene place to pay homage to the massive Reclining Buddha at Wat Phra Prang Munee, where a tall square prang stands out prominently. Adjacent to the prang is the hall of Luang Pho Yen, a sacred stucco Buddha statue from the Ayutthaya period. Beside the hall, there is a holy water well, which is an ancient relic that the temple excavated from the area surrounding the hall. Inside the chapel, vibrant murals created by local artists depict tales of hell and heaven, yet they retain a beauty that is equally striking as found in other locations.
