Currently, Wat Nang Takian in Klong Khein Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Songkhram Province, is widely talked about for having a giant known as Mae Yai or Phra Nang Suphanapsorn, believed to bestow significant luck. Many people have reported winning the lottery after visiting. The gable of the ordination hall is adorned with ancient glazed ceramics, and a sacred Bodhi tree overshadows the stupa. In front of the old ordination hall stands Phra Rahu, a deity to whom locals often offer chicken figurines as a form of worship. Originally named Wat Thep Tararam, it is presumed that the land on which the temple was built belonged to Mr. Thep and Mrs. Tha. The name "Wat Nang Takian" originates from a canal, known as Klong Nang Takian, located to the east of the temple, which connects to the Mae Klong Canal and leads to the Tha Ka Canal in Amphawa District.
