Also known as the Cultural Plaza in front of Lam Duan Temple, this riverside landmark in central Nong Khai is famous for its two grand serpent statues (Nagas) facing the Mekong River. Believed to be protectors and symbols of abundance and good fortune, the square is a popular spot for relaxing walks, enjoying sunset views, and witnessing the spectacular Naga Fireballs during the Buddhist Lent festival. Pa Ya Nak Ku Square is not only a symbol of Nong Khai, but also a cultural and spiritual center for the local community.
