The Teph Museum is a new learning destination in Phrae province, born from the idea of its owner, who wanted to showcase his late father's extensive collection of antiques. The museum, known as "Teph Museum," is open daily for tourists to explore. It is located in Wiang Sub-district, not far from the Victory Gate of Phrae city. Inside the museum, the exhibits are thoughtfully divided into sections, allowing visitors to leisurely walk through and gain close-up insights into the various artifacts. Among the must-see items at the Teph Museum are a magnificent 6-meter high teak door, crafted from a single large teak tree, and a massive teak pillar that would require 3 to 4 people to embrace. Other fascinating exhibits include intricately inlaid mother-of-pearl furniture, exquisite porcelain, ancient brassware, and a collection of ancient warrior armor. The museum even features golden scarabs from different eras, making it a treasure trove for history enthusiasts and curious travelers alike.
