Located in the Pong Kham district, this impressive sculpture of the Naga has scales made of misty white marble. It is the largest Naga statue in Thailand, standing 11.11 meters tall and stretching 51.40 meters in length, with a diameter of 1.50 meters along its body. The statue is a stunning highlight within the Kaeng Kaba public park. Named Phaya Si Phuchong Mukda Naga Raja, it symbolizes the Naga that brings prosperity and shining fortune to Mukdahan province. This Naga represents the earthly Naga, one of the three prominent Naga figures in Mukdahan. It is believed that those who come to pay their respects and pass under the belly of the Naga will find happiness and their wishes fulfilled. The belly of the Naga arches gracefully, forming three distinct archways. The first archway signifies good health, the second, located beneath the Naga’s belly, represents wealth, and the third symbolizes the achievement of success.
