Tham Sri Mongkhon Temple (Tham Din Pieng) is a site of significant importance that lends its name to the temple. Many have recounted that it is a cave that monks from Laos traversed, not by boat, but through this very cave. Only those who have cultivated virtue and meditation or possess special abilities can witness the paths within the cave. The characteristics of Tham Din Pieng resemble the mythical underwater city of the Naga, according to local beliefs. Within the cave, there exists a consistent humidity and flowing water year-round. Deliberately placed stone pillars can be found, some resembling coffins, while the cave's inner rock formations showcase stunning curves. It is advisable to have a guide when entering the cave, as attempting to explore alone may lead to getting lost or encountering danger.
