This is an unseen gem of Nong Khai, where the views captured in photographs are truly stunning. It seems to attract a good number of visitors, and the beauty lies in the temple being surrounded by nature, providing a picturesque view of both the Thai and Lao sides, as well as the Mekong River. At Wat Phatak Sieo, the current highlight is the newly constructed glass skywalk—the first of its kind in Thailand. This new viewpoint in the Isan region features a glass walkway that extends out from the cliff edge near Wat Phatak Sieo. Shaped like a horseshoe, the walkway stretches 6 meters out from the cliff, designed to support a load of about 20 people due to the use of high-quality materials in its construction. Safety railings are installed along both sides for added security. The surrounding landscape has also been beautifully landscaped, making it a remarkable viewpoint of the Mekong River, showcasing the new unseen attraction of Nong Khai and Thailand.
