Gu Chang-Gu Horse

In the city of Lamphun.

Koo Chang is a cylindrical stupa with a rounded top, believed to be the burial site of the legendary war elephants of Queen Chamthewi. It is referred to as "Phu Kam Nga Kiew," which translates to "the elephant with a dark hide and green tusks," symbolizing power and prowess in battle. Meanwhile, Koo Ma is a bell-shaped stupa, believed to be the burial site of the royal steeds belonging to Queen Chamthewi's son. The site is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
