Brief History
พื้นที่ของจังหวัดลพบุรี เคยเป็นที่ตั้งของเมืองโบราณหลายสมัย เดิมเรียก ละโว้ นับตั้งแต่สมัยขอมเรืองอำนาจ มีหลักฐานที่สำคัญคือ พระปรางค์สามยอด (อยู่ในเขตอำเภอเมืองลพบุรี) เป็นศิลปะเขมรสมัยบายน อายุราวพุทธศตวรรษที่ 18 และมีศาลพระกาฬซึ่งเก่าแก่ในสมัยเดียวกัน
