This bridge is part of Highway 4146, which connects Highway 407 (the Hat Yai-Songkhla route) and Highway 408 (the Songkhla-Ranod route). The bridge is divided into two sections. The first section connects Ban Nam Krajaï in Mueang Songkhla district, crossing Songkhla Lake to the southern part of Koh Yao, with a length of 940 meters. The second section connects the northern part of Koh Yao, crossing Songkhla Lake to Ban Khao Khieo in Singhanakhon district, with a length of 1,700 meters. In total, the two sections of the bridge span 2,640 meters.
