Kow Leng Ji Shrine

Bang Nak Subdistrict, Mueang Narathiwat District.

The Kow Leng Ji Shrine has a unique characteristic compared to other shrines, as its guardian spirit is depicted as a "dragon head holding a crystal." It also houses a statue of Luang Pu Toh, who walked on sweet sea water, magically empowered by Luang Pu Tim from Wat Chang Hai. The ‘Khao Mongkhon Phiphat’ is considered a sacred site in Narathiwat province, located within the area of Wat Bang Nara. It features a formation of stacked boulders that rise into a hill, where a replica of the Buddha’s footprint and a statue of Phra Sangkhachai are placed. The Kow Leng Ji Shrine is situated in the city center of Narathiwat, accessible via Phiphatkiri Road in Bang Na sub-district.

Province: Narathiwat
