At the top, there is a viewpoint that is truly remarkable. It's hard to believe that Uthai Thani boasts a mountain right in the heart of the city. Visitors can ascend to the peak and enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding area. Climbing to the summit of Sakha Krang Mountain requires some physical effort as you need to tackle 449 steps. At the top, there’s a beautiful pavilion housing a replica of the Buddha's footprint, which is stunning and offers an expansive view as far as the eye can see. This is certainly a must-visit spot when you come to Uthai Thani. Currently, Buddhists in Uthai Thani come together to hold the annual ceremony to pay homage to the sacred Buddha Mongkol. This event takes place every year during the waxing days of the 4th lunar month, near the pavilion at the summit of Sakha Krang. Additionally, it is home to the Royal Monument of King Phutthamonton, the founder of the Chakri Dynasty, from the reign of King Rama I. Every year, on April 6th, there is a ceremony to pay respects to this royal monument.
