Phutthawas Temple at Phu Sing serves as a center for the dissemination of Buddhism, ecological culture learning, and community cultural promotion. It is also a tranquil haven for relaxing the mind while enjoying the surrounding nature, which offers breathtaking views in all directions. To the south, you can admire the stunning landscape of the lake above the Chollamphao Dam and the charming town of Non Buri Municipality. To the east, the scenery unfolds into a beautiful panorama of Phu Pao, Phu Khao, Phu Peng, and Phu Kum Khao, resembling a beautifully crafted natural garden. To the west, one can see the Kan Tho mountain range in the Tha Khan Tho district, which stretches to the horizon, making it one of the most picturesque spots for sunset viewing. Every year, tens of thousands of Buddhist devotees participate in the Tak Bat Devo ceremony on the last day of the Buddhist Lent. This grand event, organized by the Saha Khun district in Kalasin Province and Phutthawas Temple, takes place at the summit of Phu Sing. Over 400 monks descend from the mountain to receive alms at the foot of the hill, honoring the cherished traditions on the day of the auspicious end of the lent season.
