Wat Sakkawan is a remarkable site where numerous dinosaur bones have been discovered. Some of these bones are exhibited in the temple's hall, accompanied by an exhibition showcasing the history of dinosaur eras, as well as photographs illustrating the excavation process of these fossils. Additionally, about 100 meters from the temple hall lies a dinosaur skeleton buried in the ground near the foothills. This skeleton, which has been excavated by officials from the Department of Geological Resources, belongs to a group of sauropods, with approximately seven individuals dating back to the Cretaceous period, around 130 million years ago.
