The Kiri Tham Temple in Kanchanaburi is definitely a must-visit! It is a temple hidden among the mountains, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for making merit, worshipping, and praying. The highlight is the statue of the sacred Naga King, Phu Nila Kalanakraja, and the white Naga Queen, Mae Ya Kanya Waveena, found inside the cave. They look incredibly sacred and awe-inspiring, so those interested in spirituality shouldn't miss this! Additionally, there is a large Buddha statue at the entrance of the cave and an image of Lord Vesufuwan, where visitors can pay respect and seek blessings for fortune. Getting there is not difficult, as it is about 18 kilometers from the city center of Kanchanaburi. The journey doesn't take long, and there is ample parking available. Although the path up to the cave presents some challenges with both flat and steep areas, the temple has made the walkway very accessible, so there’s no need to worry about getting lost. They even provide flashlights to borrow when entering the cave. It's guaranteed to be worth it for the beauty and spirituality that await!
