The temple is a serene and peaceful place, not too crowded, with a pleasant and cool atmosphere that embraces nature. According to historical records, in the year 1766, the city of Ayutthaya was devastated by the hands of the Burmese army. Temples and homes were destroyed, leaving only ruins. Later, a wandering monk settled in the area of Wat Klong Sa Bua and discovered remnants of an ancient vihara, along with four plaster Buddha statues that were enshrined there. He initiated the restoration of the temple. After the renovation, a strange phenomenon occurred; the sound of thunder rumbled several times without any evident cause, all while the sky remained clear. This thunderous roar caused the four plaster Buddha statues to crack simultaneously, revealing a hidden bronze Buddha statue inside each of them. This mysterious event left the onlookers in awe and wonder.
