When the power of faith manifested through a beautiful house that the people of Songkhla united to build for General Prem Tinsulanonda, the Privy Councillor and statesman, during his tenure as Prime Minister, it became a significant landmark. This house was completed on August 26, 1991, situated on a hill surrounded by coconut groves, offering views of the Tinsulanond Bridge located about 3 kilometers away, as well as Songkhla Lake and Ko Yo Island. In 1996, General Prem returned the house to the people of Songkhla. Subsequently, the provincial government established the Kanjanapisek Library at the foot of the hill near the House of Faith, creating a space for public research and study. The Prem Tinsulanonda Foundation allocated a budget of 40.1 million baht along with a 5 rai, 2 ngan, and 23 square wah plot of land surrounding the House of Faith for the Department of Fine Arts to carry out the construction. He presided over the cornerstone laying ceremony on April 12, 1995, at 3:19 PM, and the library was officially opened on March 19, 1997, receiving royal permission to be named the "Kanjanapisek National Library, Songkhla." The library is located in Mueang District, Songkhla Province.
