Fang Hot Spring

Pong Nam Ron, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province.

Located in the Mae Fang National Park, this natural hot spring is formed by geothermal heat, consistently emitting steam. The water temperature ranges from approximately 40 to 88 degrees Celsius, and there are numerous springs spread over an area of about 10 rai (the larger springs can send steam soaring up to 40-50 meters high). The national park provides facilities for mineral baths and steam rooms. The hot springs are situated just a short distance before reaching the park's headquarters. Additionally, the park has established a nature trail that leads through a mixed deciduous forest to the hot springs, covering a distance of approximately 1.2 kilometers. Entrance fees are 50 baht for Thai adults and 20 baht for children, while foreign adults are charged 300 baht and children 150 baht.
