The pier serves as a central hub for traveling to various notable destinations, such as Icon Siam, Wat Arun, Asiatique, Wat Rakhang, Wang Lang, and Pak Kret. Sathorn Pier, also known as Taksin Bridge Pier, is located along the eastern bank of the Chao Phraya River, on the Phra Nakhon side, below Taksin Maharach Bridge at the end of Sathorn Road and along both sides of Khlong Sathorn. This area encompasses Silom, Bang Rak, and Yannawa districts in Bangkok, featuring both the Chao Phraya Express Boat pier and the crossing ferry pier.
