Klang Cave

Ao Luk Noi and Ao Luk

"Klang Cave" is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved limestone caves in Thailand, and it is considered the second most stunning in Asia. This cave requires a guide to enter, as the path is dark, deep, and quite complex. Inside, there are a total of 13 cavernous halls, and it takes about 1 to 2 hours to explore. For those who are not experienced cavers, the first three rooms alone are breathtaking and absolutely worth seeing. Inside the cave, you can find stunning stalactites resembling quartz coral in pure white, as well as halls filled with thousands of stalactites that look like coffee straws hanging from the ceiling, creating a magnificent sight. There are also small stalagmites that form on the ground and a curtain of stalactites shaped like hugging figures. One room even has a floor that resembles the Great Wall of China. The paths within the cave can be uneven, and some areas may require climbing, so it is advisable for visitors to avoid wearing skirts or high-heeled shoes, as this can lead to accidents. The most essential item to bring is a flashlight, and visitors should contact the front office before entering the cave. For more information and to arrange for a guide, you can reach out to the local community tourism network in Aoluk at phone numbers 0 7563 4072, 08 6691 5151, or 08 7470 6661.
