The old Sappaya police station is located in the historic Sappaya Market, Moo 4, Sappaya Sub-district, Sappaya District, Chai Nat Province. This police station, dating back to the reign of King Rama V, is over 100 years old and is considered the oldest in the country. It serves as a venue showcasing local historical narratives, allowing younger generations and tourists to explore and learn. In recognition of its architectural significance, it was awarded the Outstanding Preservation of Fine Arts and Architecture Award in 2018 (on April 4, 2018). The committee selected the building for its valuable architectural and artistic merit, as it has been well-maintained and preserved.
