Bodh Gaya Pagoda

Soi Jeddi Phutthakaya, Nong Lu Subdistrict, Sangkhla Buri District

The Phutthakaya Stupa is a miniature replica, smaller than the original Phutthakaya Stupa in India. It features a square-shaped base, and at the front, there are two lion statues crafted in the Mon style, standing guard at the steps that lead up to the stupa. These majestic lions are believed to protect the stupa from both sides of the entrance stairs. The entire structure is stunning and radiates a golden light that shines brilliantly in every direction. At the summit of the stupa, there is a relic chamber, housing sacred relics brought back from Sri Lanka by the revered monk Phra Uthama, allowing devotees to pay their respects.
