The Non-Hunting Area of the Airport Reservoir covers an area of approximately 3,568 rai. During World War II, the Allies used this location as a parking area for planes to deliver food supplies. After the war, the government designated this space for public use, making it a recreational area for the residents of Prakhon Chai district. It serves as an ideal spot for observing water birds, with species such as swans, gray ducks, and spoonbills commonly sighted, especially from November to March. Getting there is quite convenient; it is located 41 kilometers from Buriram city, along the road to Prakhon Chai. You will find it just 4 kilometers before reaching Prakhon Chai district, on the left side of Highway 219.
