As part of the Hong Islands in the Thung Teao National Park, Koh La Ding features beautifully curved beaches with crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming. This island is also a popular stop for long-tail boats that cater to tourists. Standing on the island and gazing toward the beach, you'll be greeted by a stunning view of the crescent shore dotted with anchored long-tail boats, all embraced by rocky cliffs—a favorite spot for visitors to capture memorable photographs. Moreover, during low tide, the sandbar at Koh Pak Bia emerges, resembling a "sea split," allowing guests to walk across to a smaller island, which is also named Koh Pak Bia. To get there, you can purchase a day tour package from Krabi town or Ao Nang, or even from Phang Nga, as the marine territories are interconnected. Alternatively, you can hire a long-tail boat from Ao Nang or Nopparat Thara Beach, with the boat ride taking about 45 minutes to an hour.
