Koh Laoya, often referred to as the "gem of the eastern sea," is located in the Mu Koh Chang National Park in Trat Province. It consists of three small islands in a row: Koh Laoya Nai, Koh Laoya Khang, and Koh Laoya Nok. **Atmosphere of the place:** I can say that this place is extremely quiet and private, perfect for true relaxation. The water here is crystal clear, allowing you to see various types of coral. The fine white sandy beach stretches long, and the lush green forests cover the entire island. The sound of the waves crashing onto the shore is the loudest sound on the island. There's also a wooden bridge connecting Koh Laoya Nai with Koh Laoya Khang and Nok, allowing visitors to walk and enjoy the beautiful views and take stunning photos. **How to get there:** Koh Laoya is located in the southern part of Koh Chang. The main way to get there is by taking a boat from the Laem Ngob Pier in Trat Province, which takes about 1 to 2 hours. Importantly, there is only one resort on the island that usually organizes packages that include round-trip boat transfers. The boat departs from Laem Ngob in the morning around 9:00 AM. **Overall overview of the place:** Koh Laoya is a paradise for those who love tranquility and nature. Besides lounging by the beach, it is also a rich diving spot with a variety of corals to explore. Other activities available include kayaking, glass-bottom boating, and fishing. The best time to visit is from October to April. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle and unwind, Koh Laoya is definitely the answer.
