Sai Ngam Park, Phimai, Korat

Sai Ngam Village, Sai Ngam, Chao Phraya Road, Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Phimai District.

This public area is filled with a significant number of banyan trees, which have grown from a mother tree that is over 350 years old. Its branches spread out and have developed into many new trunks, while the complex intertwining roots form a web-like structure. Some roots dangle down, creating a curtain-like effect reminiscent of a natural archway. Covering an area of approximately 2,322 square meters, this place has been famous since the time of Her Majesty Queen Sri Patcharin, during the reign of King Rama V, when she visited the city of Phimai on January 21, 1911, and named it "Sai Ngam."
