Tai Rom Yen National Park

Tai Rom Yen National Park

Surat Thani, Thailand

The Khao Sok National Park in Surat Thani is simply amazing! It is an incredibly lush rainforest, home to rare plant species and various wildlife, allowing for an authentic nature experience. The atmosphere is peaceful and shady, with the peaks often shrouded in clouds year-round, making it a truly delightful spot! Getting there is not difficult at all. From Surat Thani city, take Highway 4009 towards Ban Na San for about 30-33 kilometers until you reach Ban Chiang Phra (opposite Kuan Subarn School), then turn left onto the rural road and continue for another 15 kilometers to reach the park office. If you are arriving by train, you will need to hire a vehicle from Ban Na San station, as the park entrance is quite far from the station. Overall, this place is a paradise for nature lovers. It features beautiful waterfalls, such as the tallest waterfall in Surat Thani, named Daat Faa Waterfall, and the stunning limestone Tham Khamin Cave. Additionally, there are nature trails for exploration. The park also has accommodation and camping facilities available. Be sure to prepare your gear and get ready for an adventure! It’s perfect for relaxation and exploration! The entry fee is 40 baht for Thai adults and 20 baht for children.
